"The service is second to none - first class- the cuisine is scrumptious and a complete delight! If you have food intolerances then there is no problem here. Our wedding cake was absolutely spectacular- the accommodation and reception rooms were airy luxurious and relaxing. It is the complete package - it is unique - the people are simply lovely - and the standard is very high - a part of my heart is there."

"We had a civil ceremony in La Belle Epoque, followed by drinks, canapés and a 7 course meal, culminating with a Piece Montee wedding cake. Wow - it was fantastic. The setting is beautiful - a contemporary conservatory opening on to a walled garden, overlooking the church for the ceremony and drinks. Dinner in a traditional dining room opening on to the same garden. Idyllic. Every last detail was covered and it was a truly memorable day. Our ceremony took place in the conservatory, with our guests seated on the lawn in the late afternoon sunlight. The canapés which followed were amazing - with sparkling rose or pimms. I have visited Le Manoir once before, 8 years ago, and have never forgotten the experience. I was not sure how this would translate to catering for 50 guests, but I can honestly say that you would be hard-pushed to notice the difference. La Belle Epoque has its own chef and team focusing specifically on your event. Every request and dietary requirement is covered seamlessly. We had tempura courgette flower, beetroot with horseradish sorbet, crab ravioli with ginger, hen's egg with jabugo ham and toasted hazelnuts, new season spring lamb, seasonal fruit soup and piece montee. We could hardly eat the petit fours at the end - but they were delicious. Everyone was blown away. One of the most memorable courses - both in terms of presentation and taste - was the beetroot terrine. I would never have thought that beetroot could be so wonderful. The service was superb. Nothing was too much, everything was done perfectly. After the meal we retired to the garden where there was music, a fire pit and flares. It was a truly magical evening and I would be happy to recommend it to anyone who is planning an intimate wedding with 50 or fewer guests...Le Manoir is a special place. You travel a mile down the road from the M40, and as you drive through the gates, you enter a bubble of serenity where you are cosseted and removed from the pressures of everyday life. You forget about the real world when you are inside those gates."
